Collette is a strategic communication specialist who has been helping organisations and individuals to shape messages, tell stories and effectively use digital and traditional communication channels for over 15 years. She is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA).
Over the course of her career, she has successfully designed and delivered strategic communication strategies for both large and small organisations. She was the communication lead on the $120 Million TAMS project for BHP Billiton, worked for several years as a Senior Ministerial Advisor and has helped many local businesses find their voice on social media.
Collette wrote the winning application for the prestigious 2016 Global HSEC Awards (category safety) for Goonyella Riverside Mine.
A trained educator, she runs corporate workshops and professional development sessions teaching strategic communication skills such as ‘strategic messaging’ and ‘clear and simple communicating’. She also runs individual sessions to help people develop their personal brand through social media. Collette is member of the Perth based, Stanley College Academic Board Course Advisory Committee and has recently written curriculum for the college as it prepares to deliver its Bachelor of Business (Social Media Marketing) degree.
In her spare time, Collette is a passionate yogi and registered yoga teacher. Knowing how much healthier and more efficient she is when practising regularly, she loves to share this knowledge through corporate yoga and meditation classes.
